Mustika
Hello everyone, I just ordered a Dell XPS 15 and a Corsair Force CSSD-F60GB2-BRKT 60GB to upgrade it. What I want to do is use the SSD for windows and some apps and keep the standard hdd as a storage disk. Now I have read that the corsair has some problems with certain mainboards and setups. So my question is if there are any issues known with the XPS 15, is there anything specific that I should be aware of when installing the new SSD? Thanks for your help! Dudenell
issue is with the 120GB version. I bought myself an XPS L1502x myself (not the thinner xps) and installed the drive. No issues. If you get the L1502x use a screwdriver to push the keyboard up instead of putting it near the screen. Basically the HDD is near your trackpad and the only way to get to it is to take the cover around the keyboard off.
