I found this setting was on 8 channel, I changed it to what is in the picture and fixed it. under sound properties select your headset and press the properties button on the bottom right of the window. Next select the advanced tab and change it from 8 channel to 2 channel 96000 Hz. I hope it's this easy for the rest of you.
