I'm preparing a build and its been a few years since i last built my pc.
Anyways i bought the RM1000x last build and its been rock solid.
I downloaded the manual for the Gigabyte z390 Designare mobo and i see it has
atx12v_2x2 and atx12v 2x4
But the corsair power supply only has the atx 8 pin. so my question is do i just need to connect the Power supply to one of those connectors or do both need to be connected?

***Edit*** i looked at the corsair manual and it appears that there are 2 atx 8 connectors so i believe i can connect both.
