Thanks -
Hi, I made a new build using my old LL series fans, rgb strips and LS100 strips. One of each hardware maanged to crap itself, not sure why, it is as if there was a spike in voltage somewhere that caused them to fail. Anyway, I replaced them all but now one of the LL series fans shows a slight green RGB that I can not turn off during hardware lighting mode. TBH you can barely see it. 'm wondering if there was a trick to get it to go away?

Finally figured out why this happens. Basically, if you uninstall iCue and any other 3rd part RGB app, the system doesn't detect the hardware (iCue detects Corsair hardware fine) so in order for this to work again you simply install the 3rd party app, in this case my G skill RAM didn't appear in Armory crate so I installed G Skill Trident Z RGB controller app, allowed that app to detect the RAM and THEN Armory crate could see the RAM. I cue only detected the motherboard and GPU AFTER I installed Armory Crate which is where it detected it. Once that is done, I simply deleted G Skill Trident RGB controller and made Armoury Crate the link ( Motherboard/GPU/RAM) between it and iCue. This issue has plagued me for years and many others over the years as well.

I'd love to use Armory crate but it is a turd. I managed to get icue to detect the GPU, some sort of install/reinstall order thing going on between icue and aura however the motherboard does not show. iCue does detect the motherboard, it shows me the temps etc... but the RGB component doesn't show so I can't do anything with the motherboards RGB.

Hi guys, I just moved to windows 11 after upgrading hardware from z370 to z690 and ASUS TUF 3080. On my old system, iCue detected both the GPU and motherboard just fine. All worked well. After a format of my PC and move to Win 11, iCue doesn't detect the Mobo/GPU. This is something I have battled with for a while in the past when uninstalling ASUS AURA SYNC and iCue but I can't work out what the deal is. Typically, I'd install an old version of AURA and then that app would detect the hardware but this time, old AURA versions are not detecting these two parts which I believe is the reason behind iCue not detecting them. Does any one have any pointers on how I can force iCue to detect these parts? Thanks

I believe the system needs a restart after the install. Things come good once that is done. I think this is expected. -

Sure, but figured I'd raise this here since this worked fine with 3.38.X however to clarify my issue as I was mistaken, the mother board lights up fine with the Rainbow scene, it's the G Skill RAM that fails to go through its rainbow mode when iCue starts up. There is a work around for this that I discovered. There may be more but I found that if running Aura Sync whilst iCue is also running, turning Aura Sync Off then back On will restore correct rainbow mode function on the G Skill RAM. An alternative to this problem is that if you run iCue first then run Aura to enable RGB (then close Aura) the G Skill RAM works fine there too. -

I'm running the latest Aura Sync, 1.07.79_V2.2 with the latest iCue 4.X and noticed that after turning on Aura to activate the RGB in rainbow mode, turning off Aura and then opening up iCue, my Asus motherboard RGB gets stuck on what ever color it brings up and the rainbow barf effects on the G Skill RAM stop transitioning through the colors. I'm not sure if this is a move from iCue 3.38.X to iCue 4.X issue or something else? Are there known issues with ASUS boards and plugins using 4.X? -

Yeah not sure. I can wait, it's a minor problem. -

Thanks, but seems (1) remains after updating the config file whilst iCue was not running. Tried a few times, seems like it is cached or picking up from else where -

2 things: 1) How do you rename a hardware title? My ST100 has a (1) in the name I'd like to remove. I knew how on 3.X iCue but not the 4.X 2) When you run a scene, lighting options on your hardware are disabled. It would be good if the speed of the lightning could be changed as a minimum as I'm liking some of the scenes, they just appear to be a little too quick. -
Thanks but I just finished fixing it literally 5 minutes ago using te. Microsoft install/uninstalled troubleshooter. :)

I can't install it. "The older version of CORSAIR iCUE Software cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group."
