  1. Thanks, I was literally about to post that myself having just found it now :) https://eustore.cablemod.com/product/cablemod-classic-modmesh-c-series-cable-kit-for-corsair-rmi-rmx/ Guess I'm going to be buying that. Not too concerned about price since they also look awesome, imo, and it gives 8 pin and 6 pin PCIe cables (I have a ASUS GTX 1080 Ti turbo which has an 8 pin power and a 6 pin power, so currently on stock RM850i cables using the 8 pin PCIe and the 6+2, with the "+2" hanging off the side... it looks messy.)
  2. All of my Corsair SATA cables have either 3 or 4 SATA connectors on them, which makes them rather unwieldy and challenging to cable manage and hide inside the case. I don't like those spare connectors waving around! I've looked around and can't find any, so I'm not hopeful, but are there any PSU to SATA power cables with either 1 or 2 SATA connectors per cable? And if so, where can I get them? I think that SATA drive count per build is in decline now and a lot of people are probably going to be wanting to end up with the ability to power one or two devices without a great length of excess cable left over. (I made the switch to M.2 last year, now have no SATA SSDs/HDDs, just my two optical drives to power.)
  3. Great thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to hear.
  4. I'm looking at hardware parts again for the first time in a few years, and everytime I look at Corsair's RGB ecosystem seems like something's changed ;) Anyway, I'm seeing fans being advertised with a "Lighting Node Core," which seems to be a Lighting Node Pro combined with the 6-port RGB fan hub, which you would previously connect to the LNP. 1. Is that a correct description of the role of the LNC? 2. Can the LNC be used with the HD series fans? If both of the above are yes then I may look to replace my LNP with an LNC, simply to save room in my case and reduce the cabling a little. As I'm more than happy to do away with my LED strips which are in the second channel of the LNP. I'm hoping I'll be able to do 6x HD120/HD140 -> LNC -> USB Header , instead of doing 6x HD120/HD140 -> Fan Hub -> LNP -> USB Header. Possible? Doesn't look like you can buy it standalone but I'll just get a pack of fans that has it.
  5. Gives me an idea though, if that's a simple passthrough, I wonder how I could go about wiring up an IR remote to it. Finding a way of actually making the connection would be the hardest bit I think. Then just need an IR receiver that presumably sends a signal down the pins corresponding to the button you want to activate. And with that said... I wonder why Corsair still isn't offering such an IR remote themselves! What I'd really like is a remote control that is actually remote, with an IR receiver plugged into the fan hub, and a little Corsair-branded three button remote. But the discovery of this port makes me wonder if I can build it myself.
  6. I've just dug out my old HD Lighting Controller button controller (switched to Lighting Node Pro software control, but now I'm going back to buttons again) and noticed there's a 6-pin port on the top, as well as the hardwired cable on the bottom going to the fan hub. What's this 6-pin port for? I don't remember using this and I can't seem to find anything about it. Or is it just an unused hardware feature? ilmiont
