Alex_Hamilton Posted July 4, 2012 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Today, after about a month of owning my headset, I had an unexpected and sudden problem. The problem occurred about an hour ago, I was chatting in TS and when I press the mic mute button, the headset's LED's cycled between red/blue and didn't stop until I unplugged and reconnected the headset. After plugging the headset in, the mic mute button simply does not work. The LED's do not change to red. The mic does not mute. I decided to test out the headset on a laptop with windows 7, 32-bit, and had the same problem, regardless of the USB port and regardless if the drivers were installed. I also tried re-installing the drivers on my normal PC, this had no effect. One thing I noted, when the drivers are not installed (window's default plug-and-play drivers are in use), muting the microphone in the properties page causes the LED's to cycle red/blue until they are unmuted. Has this happened to anyone else? I was not able to find any threads or anything in google. Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips or should I request a replacement?
