  1. I have just updated to icue 5 and the 4x rgb led strips wont work Everything was working fine before update Strips are just set to static green, but will change on temperature rising In icue the strips show up saying they are set to green but dont light up I have tried removing them in software and then adding again but still not lighting up They did work ok until i updated to icue 5 any help to fix them???
  2. Well it seems i have a problem a few others have had RGB on the pump header was working fine until today The ICue software see's the 2 fans and rgb works on them fine Icue also see's the pump and reports the pump speed Just the rgb does not work now I havent changed anything in the case, from when it was working I have restarted icue services but still no rgb, even when the prog starts I have reseated the usb cable in case it was loose and reconnected it to the corsair commander, commander sees the the rgb but i have no control on the colour at all. I have selected Marquee in the lighting effects and icue shows the rgb as working but no lights are on at the pump. I even changed the usb to usb2 on the commander, but satill nothing I have even uninstalled the icue software and reinstalled So everything shows the rgb as working fine but still no lights Is this just a faulty rgb or ?
  3. sorry i cant help more mate, maybe someone else has a suggestion as i said i would have thought that cooler would have brought the temps down to below average for you, but it might just be how it runs Good luck with the temps tho, sorry i have no fix for you side panel removal was just a last atempt maybe try updating icue to the latest version too
  4. no problem mate, i hope you get it running cooler does it get much cooler if you remove the side panel? I'm sure you have enough intake fans to keep it cool
  5. ok check bios is up to date for the motherboard, but that cpu runs at 70+ degrees according to posts ive seen on google/reddit It might be that thats just the temp it will run at i would have thought the cooler would bring the temps down to below average tho is the airflow in you case ok? front fans as intake rear as exaust i take it?
  6. you could try reversing the fans so its set to intake but i cant see it making that much difference, especially with that case, its an awesome case you have, i take it you gfx card is not too hot only thing i seen on google was to make sure you have the latest bios for the motherboard That cpu does run hottish tho, 80 degrees seems just above average for it
  7. you could try reversing the fans so its set to intake but i cant see it making that much difference, especially with that case, its an awesome case you have, i take it you gfx card is not too hot
  8. wow that does seem a bit high, ok i'm not sure what idle temps should be with that cpu, is it overclocked and running at full all the time, or is the cpu under load all the time. You probably checked all that but just in case The h100i i had before was good at temps on intel, it had my cpu at 60 to 70 degrees while under load when gaming, it may be that the cpu you have runs at that temp anyway the h115 i have just now is also an exaust but as you can see on the pic it keeps it cool, only time mine gets a bit hotter is when the gfx card is hot
  9. what is the pump speed? might be that its on quiet and there is also a zero option in icue for it
  10. That seems a bit high with that cooler, i have an i9 9900k and my idle sits at 28 degrees and jumps to 50 ish when gaming, is the head unit seated right on the cpu? are both fans running and ramp up when under load? you can set a manual fan speed to check they ramp up ok or try using new thermal paste to make sure is sitting on the cpu right
  11. as you can see from this pic, i do have a few corsair items installed and i love them in my Corsair obsidian 500d se case, but i am raging that this rubbish was sent out from a huge retailer
  12. I love my corsair items, cooler, fans, case, keyboard, etc, etc, but i am saddened and annoyed at what i have received. I bought a Corsair H115i Platinum from a large retailer which was not sealed in the box and when i fitted it i noticed the USB cable from the head unit was faulty, i sent for a replacement from a large retailer and was sent a Second-hand unit that was damaged and obviously had been used in another pc. Does corsair send used units to sellers or is this just down to lazy quality check from a large retailer? I am annoyed at this kind of stuff can be sent to a customer but was told by the retailer that the unit is fine, I am sending this back to them but just wanted to clarify who was at fault here As you can see from the pics, the unit has no thermal paste on it, the screws are all over the box, the fans are dirty, the radiator has damaged fins, the mounting brackets are missing. I have used a few items from corsair but never had items in this state, luckily i noticed before fitting but some new pc builders may not and might have tried to fit this, or if someone got this as a gift I just want to bring it to the attention of the community to make sure you are getting new items that you pay for I am sure Corsair would not send this kind of equipment to customers If this is the retailer's fault then they should be ashamed
  13. Oh Cr*p so I did, Doh me /facepalm Yeah, I set them and the fans ramped up as I expected. Thanks for pointing that out I did think it was maybe I wired them wrong or something as these fans have extra cables and 2 marked 1 with through cables also Thanks for the reply, matey /bow to your expertise
  14. Ok thanks for the reply I have set the fans to manual at 100% but they still will not go above 850 ish rpm, I have posted a pic of this. The coolant temps are low so not sure if this will stop a manual setting from taking The 100iv2 I had just worked, when I set fans to max the ramped up just seemed a bit different that these fans don't do that. I did try some gaming but the fans will still not go above 840s I didn't want to be gaming at some point and then get throttled on the CPU due to cooling, or worse as a side note, do these fans in fact max out at 2400rpm as the ad on amazon stated? at least then I will know when they are working correctly
  15. I just bought a new cooler, Corsair Hydro 115i RGB Platinum, Problem i have is the fan speed If I set the fans in icue to Quiet fan speed is about 460 rpm Balanced fan speed = 460 rpm Extreme fan speed = 845 rpm Surely the rpm should be a lot higher than this? I have both ml140pro fans connected to the pump and the RGB connected to the commander pro, everything seems fine, and qfan disabled in bios Everything worked fine with the h100iv2 that I took out to replace it with the 115i. Is this a faulty set of fans or am I doing something wrong from the setup I had with the h100iv2 Also on the amazon spec page it says these fans run from 400rpm to 2000rpm, is this correct? Thanks in advance
