  1. Sounds like bubbles! I actually just got my new unit today. Depending on how you've mounted it, prop your PC up so that the radiator is higher than the pump and just let it run on extreme for a good few hours. After that you should see it go down considerably. It's just one of those annoying things that clears out.
  2. Hey, So my PSU which is about 2 years old has developed some character! Firstly it's started getting pretty loud on idle, now I can't say if this is new or not as this is the first time my PC build has almost been dead silent, however it is now the loudest fan at idle. However the worse issue is under loud it makes an awful buzz noise which makes gaming without headphones an issue, so far I have: - Cleaned dust from the PSU - Remounted the PSU, ensuring all screws are correct and tight -Flipped my PSU from downward facing to upwards None have helped - this is something new as it's pretty damn loud and sounds like it's coming from the back of the PSU so not the fan. Any suggestions?
  3. Sounds like the USB header isn't plugged in properly, give that a go first.
  4. Just a quick test, was it showing up before or is this a new installation? Could try re-seating the USB header plug and seeing if that works?
  5. Honestly they just hook on, it's just a bit fiddly, make sure the screws are as loose as they can be, hook it on then tighten.
  6. As long as you're using the right screws, they just need a bit of force to get them going. The bracket system is pretty straight forward, I'm not sure how you would have damaged your CPU or motherboard with it?

    115 Platinum noise

So I ended up just buying another one while I sent the old one back. I did as suggested and raised the rad but it seems like I still have some air left in the system on this loop too - however it's still no where near as bad as the other one - On extreme you can't hear it but on quiet it's still pretty loud. With that said, going to give it a few days like I did with the other one as that helped it and see what happens.

    115 Platinum noise

Mine is only noise in quiet or balanced, I have decided to replace it as I have moved it around in all ways and it's not solving it.

    115 Platinum noise

So it's still making that awful noise sometimes, a lot less after running it for a while. Unless anyone else has some more tips I think I am just going to have to get it replaced :(

    115 Platinum noise

The sound does change, still bad if i go into balanced or quiet. If I turn it to quiet which is where I hear the noise the most, if I move my PC to towards me on the side, it actually stops the noise so it's definitely doing something, when i move it back, it stays quiet for a bit then the noise happens again - although the quiet periods are getting longer. Come on AIO, I believe in you!

    115 Platinum noise

Okay, I have used the PSU box to prop the front up and have put it on extreme, will give it a few days to see if this works or not, if it doesn't - guess I'll just have to live without a PC for a little while!

    115 Platinum noise

Hey C-attack, thanks for that - it actually gets quieter when I move it to extreme (maybe bad wording here) This is brand new, installed it an hour or so ago - I'm going to run it over night and see if that clears the bubbles.
  13. Hallo, Just installed the 115 Platinum and I get this monster of a noise [ame] [/ame] It sounds like crackling or like an old hard drive on its way out, sometimes it'll just stop - it also does decrease if I move to balance and more so when I hit extreme. Any suggestions? If I RMA thing I'm going to be without a CPU cooler for a while, especially with xmas coming up so hoping someone here has a magical fix that I could try out now. Cheers!
