Chances are you have blown the tachometer sensor and this issue occurs a little too often on the XD5. Never ever hot plug the tach wire to a controller when the power is on. Unlike most fans, it does not react well.  Also, since it’s just a tach/rpm wire, it won’t respond to controllers doing a DC/PWM fan test. Make sure the Commander Pro header is manually set to “4 pin” in settings and not Auto or 3 pin.

Contact Corsair Support through the link at the bottom of the page or through the main website. You’re fine as far as system safety goes, but 100% all the time is too much to endure on that unit.

I didn't swap the wire around while anything was powered on, sorry if you misunderstood anything I said. I always powered my PC down before switch wires. But I noticed one day and I know it was working a few days prior and I hadn;t done any maintenance or anything for a while so I'm not sure what caused it....

  2. So randomly one day I noticed that my pump no longer is reporting the RPMs in iCUE. I tried hooking the pump to the motherboard and the Commander and also my commander pro and no matter what it no longer is reporting the RPMs. The pump is 100% running though I can squeeze one of the lines and tell that there is pressure....Why would this happen? Is there something I can do to fix it? I'm happy it still is running but I'd like to be able to see the RPMs for the sake of the fact if there was temp issues or something so I can rule out the pump knowing its not stuck on some low RPMs or something if that were to happen one day....
