I've had a Commander Core XT working for almost a year now without any problems.  Several regular PWM fans, 3 Corsair QL-series RGB fans, 2 temp probes, and a series of RGB strips on the 3 pin RGB header.

I updated the firmware today after getting a notification, and the update seemed to go without any problems.  Afterwards though my RGBs are all blinking white.  Just a slow once per second blink.  I'm not able to control any of the RGB devices with iCue.

I've rebooted several times, moved the CORE XT to a different USB header, disconnected all but one RGB device, and reinstalled the firmware and iCUE with no effect.  All the temp monitoring and fan control work just fine.

Running auto-detect also no longer detects any RGB devices, it just sits at the auto-detection screen forever, regardless if all, 1 or no fans are plugged in.

I've looked for an old firmware file to try down-grading, but I can't seem to find any.

Any ideas, or is this just an RMA.

If you're still having the issue, this fixed it for me

Reboot afterwards and it should work

I have fixed my issue now after reading several posts.

The issue is the USB Splitter, if you use this then you will have issues.
Apparently the commander doesn't get enough power using the splitter so it seems that randomly the screen will just stop working and display the exclamation mark.

Other fixes are uninstalling the iCue software and removing the Corsair folders from within Appdata, this did also fix my issue but would only display the Liquid Temp and not allow any customisation.

But the jist of the issue is, if you don't have two USB ports on your motherboard your screwed and eventually after a random restart it will stop working, or there are unlucky people like me out there who have most likely been given a faulty splitter.

I hope it fixes it for you, but I've always had mines in a separate USB port and still have the issue. Its magically working today, but im sure i'll have the red triangle soon

  3. Got the upgrade kit for myH150 elite when building a new z690 build. Did all the updates before installing the new LCD and everything was working fine for a few weeks. After upgrading to ICUE 4.18.209 nothing but issues. Did the full reinstall, reseat the pump head and USB is plugged into its own port (no daisy chaining) screen is either stuck on red triangle or liquid temp. No USB devices showing faulty in device manager. Using on a z690 Hero board
