This worked for me, missing devices are back, thanks...
- Close iCUE and End Task all of the iCue and Corsair services in Windows
- Rename the files at C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5\widgets and C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5\sensors, and keep the original config.cuecfg file.
-
But I can see it in software updates...
-
Just installed.... My commander pro has disappeared.

Been getting the red triangle of doom in icue for my keyboard the last few weeks. Unplugging usb and then back in brings it back for a while, but invariably it will hit the red triangle after a while.
The weird thing is so, I don't seem to be able to reset it - I have tried soft (hold esc key) and hard (pin in the reset hole) and neither appear to do anything?
Have also tried forcing firmware update (when it's recognised in icue) and that's not doing anything either.
Any ideas!?
-
Same for me 😞

Hi,
I assume an update of some kind will be needed for icue to work with the RGB on the Asus Z690 Hero board? Icue is currently detecting the board, but is only giving me an option to manage the rgb header not the main RGB display.

Good job...
I submitted my claim on 08/12/21 and the page just says 'pending'...
Well... my invoices got approved, so getting £100 back at some point... finished my build as well...
Corsair 680x case
12900k with XC7 block
Asus Z690 Hero (the one which doesn't catch fire)
Asus 3090 Strix with XG7 block
XD5 Pump/reservoir (in second compartment in case)
Kingston Fury Beast 5200 (Until I get my hands on Corsair Dominator, and a BIOS update or 2)
8 LL120 fans with 240 top and 360 front rad
1000w Asus ROG PSU -
I had two Dominator orders cancelled due to inventory error... which I'm not sure I believe. Managed to get some 4800 Vengeance to complete my new build, planning on running that until availability, costs and performance stabilise/improve

Reached out to our webstore team to look into your orders. You should have received an email outlining the details. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder as it might have landed in it.
I did get an email (yesterday)... still have an order for First Edition Dominator showing as processing... not sure if you're planning to or were meant to cancel that as well?
-
Well, I had 2 DDR5 orders from over 2 weeks ago, one just got cancelled with no comms or info from Corsair, and still zero update on the other order, so assume that will end up cancelled as well... cracking work Corsair...

🤞for you
Haha, I'm a numpty... despite checking the serial over and over I was missing a letter! Blaming it on the end of a long week! Submitted now... let's see if they accept it...
My Corsair Vengeance arrived today at least, so i'm ready to build in a few weeks!
-
CPU from Scan on 4th November, MB from AWD-IT on 2nd Nov, so right retailers, right dates!
Yup, will contact them and see what they say
-
Nope, can't get it to recognise any serial numbers in any combination... have posted on Asus forums.. given how much I had to pay for my DDR5, wouldn't mind the £100 back 🙂

no, both mb and cpu
ok, thanks
-
hmmm, OK...will check again.... was it just MB serial you used?

Sorry to hear that... why did they reject your claim?
I didn't have a serial number that was valid so couldn't progress through the form... tried the MB one on and CPU one...

I'd love to see some pics when you get your machine built
Re. ASUS cash back, not sure you have to literally buy the items together,
No harm in trying if you bought the parts from one or more of the specified suppliers... all you need to do is upload serial numbers for MB and CPU together with proof of purchase (invoices).
Give it a go mate... you have nothing to lose 👍
I tried, no dice... such is life! Yep, doing the build when I get some downtime between Christmas and New Year, will share for sure!
-
Ah, looks like you needed to buy as a bundle... it bought the CPU and board separately..... seems a little daft I can't still claim

Interesting,
I've also gone with the Hero and ASUS ROG Strix 3090
I think we've made a good choice 🙂
Are you building your own or having it made for you?
Oh, are you aware of the ASUS £100 Cash Back promo?
I already have the GPU, it's a beast! I was aware of it, but kind of forgot about it to be honest! Will get on that today, thank you!!
Building it myself.... Keeping my Corsair 680x case and 8 LL120 fans... everything else inside will be new other than GPU and some existing storage
-
to be honest, you're going to want to swap out the RAM in about 12-18 months anyway... I'm doing a similar build to you, Z690 ROG Hero, 12900k, ASUS Strix 3090 all water cooled... the MB will support up to 6400 Mhz and probably higher and the timings will improve, so think of your RAM as short term for a high end build! I finally got my hands on some Vengeance 4800 which arrives tomorrow, and it was way over priced, but take what you can get right now!
-
Faster timings, C36 better than C40... hence small price difference. Good luck getting a hold of it... I have an order placed for 5200 Dominator which has been open for 2 weeks with no ETA on when they might ship...

It would be nice to get a update from Corsair on availability of DDR5 memory and the 12chip article. What does that mean for us? https://www.12chip.com/article/company-news/ddr5-memory-out-of-stock-reasons-revealed:-power-management-chip-pmic-shortage.html?lang=en-us
Agreed... this is all pretty strange. It doesn't seem like what happened with the 30 series Nvidia cards, where high demand hit low supply... With DDR5 it basically doesn't seem to exist anywhere! This was the launch that put Intel back on top and, basically, no one can use it!
-
Still no update, so called customer service, and sounds like there is no stock and no clear date to get it... not sure why I was able to order it if there was no stock, pretty annoying

What time did the stock come in?

Enabing XMP Profile causes display to intermittently not wake from sleep?
in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
Posted · Edited by tracerbull3t
Anyone ever heard of this before. When I enable XMP (1, 2 or Tweaked - Corsair DDR5 32gb 5600 Dominator) the PC runs fine, games fine etc, but I get intermittent (maybe 1 in 2/3) issues where when waking the PC from sleep the monitor doesn't get any signal. Switching monitor off/on and it's fine.
I'm currently running RAM in auto and the above problem hasn't happened for well over a week.
This is using DisplayPort. Tried changing cable no difference. Latest BIOS, GPU drivers etc.
MemTest96 multiple passes no errors
Any ideas - could the RAM be on the way out?
