Your issue is due to a known problem with the USB controller used for the internal USB2.0 headers on your motherboard not providing enough USB power for the passthrough to work correctly. You will need to utilize a high quality internal USB hub that has supplemental power from your PSU to resolve your issue.
I'm having the same issue. When I boot up my PC sometimes everything is detected, but sometimes the keyboard, mouse or H100i (new version with Capellix) won't be detected or will be detected with a red ! next to them. I have to reboot multiple times until everything is detected.
I have an Asus Z490-G Wi-Fi board. Is a powered USB hub the only solution? Is this a known issue with all Asus boards?
