  1. Yes, it also happens to me when I use the USB cable that I lose the settings. Still, it could be an issue with only the wireless model. It seems not even Corsair knows the reason for the bugs. Maybe, it is just some minor thing that does not exist in the wired model and thus maybe does not exist there.

Yes, you could’ve right, however most here have the wireless for some reason or another, so going wired doesn’t really seem like the optimal solution

  2. Looking quick through the forum, it seems all the issues are for IronClaw wireless and not the wired IronClaw. Is my assumption correct?

If yes, I probably would try to exchange my wireless mouse with the fix cable IronClaw. I actually bought Corsair because I wanted a wireless gaming mouse, but the issues are way bigger than the pros.

Even when I had my Iron Claw connected to the USB cord, it still lost all custom settings.

I have solved my problems by returning the Iron Claw for a different wireless mouse. No regrets, no looking back. Good Luck with everyone's issues, I really hope they get this solved.

  3. I got the same problem. The mouse would set itself in the first HW mode, so I was losing RGB and DPI settings during gameplay. This is really frustrating.

I rolled back everything and it seems fine. The only downside is that I lost every profiles I had, but nothing I can't redo. Thanks guys!

I hope Corsair will do better on their next firmware updates...

Correct me if I’m wrong, as it seems there are many statements of rolling back the drivers to an earlier version. However from what I’ve read this is really hit and miss as it seems many have rolled back the driver with no success. It’s also seems there is no agreement on which older drivers work. So to me this indicates there is something inherently wrong with whole system. How is it even running the mouse on the USB cord, tethered that the mouse would still lose the settings?

  4. Well I tried a couple of things today with no success...

I connected the USB cable to the USB port, and then plugged in the adapter and dongle, placing it as close to the mouse as possible. No good it soon lost the setup profile.

I then programmed one of the Ironclaw HW1 programs on ICue and saved the program to the mouse, no good either, it also lost the programming.

    No luck :sigh!:

  6. i have tried everything and it is still the same hw mode kicks in and only way to get it back is to turn it on and off or remove the usb dongle.

seems fine with the cable connected but i bought a wireless mouse!!! FIX IT ASAP !!!

I left my Iron Claw Plugged in to the USB cord and it lost all custom actions reverting to default. I tried with cord plugged in and wireless off, and on, it lost custom actions either way.

  7. Hello Folks, new to the boards and found this thread looking for answers to my Iron Claw as well. Just bought it on Saturday and it too loses the Custom Actions and Lighting effects. This happens in Wireless Mode and Wired Mode (with wireless off). The only fix it seems is to turn off and on the mouse, and unplugging the mouse if plugged in.

Running iCue 3.24.52 with the latest dongle setup as requested by iCue. I love the mouse, other than this one major issue.

    Any concrete solutions yet?
