Can you post a link to this NZXT hub? Is it this one?
This is the USB hub that solved it for me: https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub

There are other posts with the same problem.

This has been kind of frustrating for me. Most people with this issue seem to have X570 motherboards--specifically the ASUS Prime.
Thank you for sharing. I have solved the issue by using the NZXT Internal USB Hub. The disconnects don't happen anymore and the USB hub of the Commander Pro works now too. The NZXT Hub is a nice temporary solution.

I pulled the trigger on purchasing the NZXT Internal USB Hub. Connecting the Commander Pro to this solved my Commander Pro disconnecting and reconnecting problem. The USB hub of the Commander Pro also works now.
I'd rather see the Commander Pro + Prime X570-Pro compatibility issue resolved, but this is a nice temporary solution.

Can confirm nzxt hub solved my problem for now. now i hope they can figure out why on ryzen 3000 icue causes the cores to never sleep and lock in at 1.4x+ volts.
Thanks for letting everyone know :). I'd rather not buy another (SATA powered) device just to fix something like this, but I am considering it.

Latest update to my ticket. the icue devs are looking in to it. the asus prime pro has a unique usb chipset they say.
I really hope Corsair will be able to fix this. Last night I lost a match of Apex Legends because the disconnect/reconnect happened during a 1v1..
I just got a response yesterday from my ticket. They just told me to do a fresh install of icue. I even linked them to two of the threads here. Well hopefully they're doing what they told you.I don't think a reinstall of the drivers/iCue will fix this. This just looks like a compatibility issue.

It most be the chipset drivers of the X570 boards from Asus.
I installed chipset drivers directly from AMD and am still experiencing this issue.

It may actually be the Asus Prime X570-Pro. I have this motherboard too and am experiencing random disconnects and reconnects with the Commander Pro, even after replacing the Commander Pro. When this happens, every device in that hub also goes offline and online.

Well it seems like you are using the newest version of iCue, so I do not know why the profile won't import... You can try updating the firmware of your mouse. My Scimitar Pro RGB has firmware 3.14.
These are exact steps to save a profile to the mouse:
- Open iCue
- Select your mouse
- Click the "+" to make a new profile in iCue
- Select "Hardware Profile" as the Type
- Configure the mouse settings
- Click "Onboard Profiles" on the left
- Here you can save the Hardware Profile to the mouse its memory
This is not a very intuitive way to save profiles to the mouse because it is kind of hidden. But I find the user experience of iCue in general pretty unintuitive.
- Open iCue

The error you received about an invalid profile might be because you exported the profile on a newer installation of iCue and trying to import that profile on an older version of iCue. Which version of iCue are you using?
As for saving profiles to the mouse. You have to select a hardware profile in iCue, configure that profile, go to onboard profiles and click on to save that to the mouse.

Thank your for your reply. This solved the H100i problem, but the random disconnects of the Commander Pro are still happening. Could there be another possible cause?

Hello Everyone,
Last weekend I purchased an H100i Platinum SE and a Commander Pro and I am experiencing a number of issues. Most of them I have not yet really solved, but but aren't bothering me too much.
In short the issues are:
- Commander Pro USB hub not working
- Random disconnect sound
- Random disconnect and reconnect of Commander Pro
- H100i freakout when reading sensor data with HWInfo64
The issue that is really bothering me is the random disconnect and reconnect of the Commander Pro. During gameplay this results in the entire system hanging for a second.
My system specs are:
Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-PRO
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700X
RAM: Corsair RGB Pro CMW16GX4M2C3600C18W + RGB Pro Lighting kit
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio
PSU: Corsair RM750x white
SSD: Corsair Force MP600 1TB
Software versions:
iCue: 3.21.88
H100i Platinum SE firmware: 1.01.15
Vengeance RGB Pro firmware: 0.96.57
Commander Pro firmware: 0.9.212
I have exported the logs and added an Excel file with timestamps to what happened, these were recorded on 29 October 2019.
