You can do this with “Scenes” from the main CUE window. This is the CUE 4 version of Instant Lighting with more customization. It is a master override of all lighting effect settings and persists across profile changes.  Devices can also be toggled in or out of the group. There are some ready made effects in the bar and you can edit them, remove, or add more.

Thanks c-attack ... I will try this out soon.

  2. Any chance of a Copy Headset EQ profile to a User's library, so if there is a good EQ created, it can be reused profile to profile?

Currently I have to take a screenshot and try to recreate it ...

Also (and apologies if this is in iCue already), how about a "set all rgb to" feature ... eg, to set the same fx and colours to every device globally. Noted that different devices may have different capabilities... surely Corsair can do this automagically? 😀

  3. I have an issue getting all my fans lit w/out the use of the 2 port LED Lighting Node Pro. I have the 360mm Capellix AIO w/ an additional 6 LL fans. The top 3 and side 3 fans are connected to the commander core and the bottom 3 fans are connected to the RGB hub. The commander core & RGB hub are connected to the commander pro but only 2 fans on the RGB hub light up. If I connect the lighting node pro into the mix all 3 will lit up. Every video I've seen shows people connecting 9 plus fans w/ out the need for the Lighting Node Pro but I'm unable to achieve this. I verified all fans do work so does all ports on the RGB hub. I'm attaching a pic of my wiring setup, is there something I'm doing wrong?

    Hi there

What platform are you on? I have an LNP connected to a CoPro ... most of the time it works, but sometimes these fans don't light (although the fans still spin).

I am on an AMD x570 platform with a Ryzen 5000x - even though I have done mobo updates, I think that AMD still haven't sorted out their USB issues.

    Cheers

  4. Hey Zotty

I am wondering if my profile and SDK issues are caused by how I've wired the RGB?

I am thinking of moving the 3 xML's and 1 x QL to the CoCo (I think I can mix and match fan types on the CoCo/H150i Elite). I would then put 6 x QL's on the LNC connected to the CoPro. I have the CoCo on one internal Mobo USB header, and the CoPro on another. The LNC connects to the CoPro. I have a spare USB header on the CoPro, so could plug the CoCo into that (?).

Also, wondering if this is related to the bloody X570 AMD USB issues - Asus's mobo updates dont really seem to address this.

Getting closer, but no cigar yet! Funnily enough, the Metro Exodus SDK profile has started to work better (I dont know why) ... the QL's on the CoCo now work, but the ML's on the Co Pro dont ...

    Hmmm!

  5. Hi Andy

I grabbed some of Alex's profiles - thanks for the tip.

On initial import only half the profile works ... the RAM, Keyboard, mouse and pump header IIRC. The fan RGB profiles do not work initially. Sometimes I can copy and paste the effects (eg from the pump header to the fans), but this does not work for all. I can get the QL's on the CoCo to work (mostly), but having trouble with the ML's on the CoPro.

Could it be how I've wired the RGB?

  6. Hi, I currently have the following setup:

    - iCue H150i Elite Capellix AIO

    - 1x Commander Core

    - 3x ML RGB fans that came with the AIO

    - 6x QL RGB fans

I also have these additional components:

    - 2x Lighting Node Core

    - 1x Commander Pro

From what I can gather from reading a lot of forum posts, there are 2 ways of setting this up.

    Setup 1:

    - Connect the 3x ML fans LED+PWR to the Commander core.

    - Connect the 6x QL fans LED to Lighting Node Core, and the PWR with splitters to the Commander Core.

    - Connect the Lighting Node Core to a USB header on the motherboard.

For this setup I've read some conflicting posts about the power draw, will that be too much on the Commander Core?

    Setup 2:

    - Connect the 3x ML fans LED+PWR to the Commander Core

    - Connect the 6x QL fans LED to the Lighting Node Core, and the PWR to a Commander Pro

    - Connect the Lighting Node Core USB header to the Commander Pro.

Are both these setups viable or will they not work?

If they both work, is there an advantage to using one or the other?

For a more detailed overview I've attached my own diagrams.

    Hi Zotty

Thanks heaps for your guides and assistance in these forums ... much appreciated!

I have Lewis G's profiles, and only the RAM and keyboard light up ... none of my QL's (on the H150i Elite, and also on a separate Lighting Node Core light up). I have:

    [*]

    • 5000D Airflow
    • H150i Elite
    • 7 x QL120's (6 of them on the H150i Commander Core, 1 on a Commander Pro via a Lighting Node Core into a CoPro)
    • 3 x ML120 RGB's (these are the ones that came with the H150i - I have them in push/pull on the radiator, also on the LNC via a CoPro)
    • Dominator Platinum RAM (White)
    • K70 keyboard,
    • M65 Mouse
    • The latest iCue 4.10I think it is ...

From a lighting perspective the H150i Elite CoCo handles the three front QL fans, and the 3 QL's on the underside of the rad. The Commander Pro with Lighting Node handles the RBG for the QL120 rear exhaust, and the 3 x ML's in pull on top of the radiator. Hopefully that wiring makes sense, happy to revisit though ... The Coco is in one usb header on my Asus X570-e Gaming, and the CoPro is on another. One usb header on the CoPro goes to the LNC.

The very latest Cyberpunk profiles work brilliantly on everything. The older profiles - some work, some dont (eg Nuclear, Titanium, Brimstone). iCue crashes on import for some of them. For others (eg Cobalt), it half worked and then I copied/pasted the lighting effects to the other devices - then the whole profile worked. I cant copy and paste the effects in other profiles thought

With Metro Exodus (and with SDK enabled), only the keyboard, mouse and RAM light up as expected. None of the fans light - maybe the pump head does ... that's it. Far Cry 5 is exactly the same. I'm on the latest iCue, and all devices have the latest firmware.

Reading the internet, is seems like the profiles (or SDK) are not aware of the very latest products (eg QL fans, H150i Elite). I cannot see any way of editing the games profile (I actually cant find it anywhere), and I cant see if/where to import.

Any tips on how to resolve these issues? Should I revisit how the RGB is wired?

    Cheers

  7. Hi Doogz,

I had the same problem, not anymore!

Alex Krastev has updated a big part of his profiles to be compatible with all the latest Corsair hardware. Search for his update #3.

You can find him at . I use them every day and they are very nice.

    I hope this helped.

    Best,

    Hi Andy

Thanks ... I will check these out.

Another question to all if I may ... are QL Fans supported on the Commander Core that came with the H150i Elite cooler? I put the ML's that came with the kit on to a separate Lighting Node Core, and attached the QL's to the Commander Core. QL's are selectable as an option, but not sure if they are fully supported.

I had 3 x ML's and 1 x QL on that LNC ... also not sure if that fan type mismatch is the source of the profiles and game SDK's not working...

    Cheers

  8. First time hitting the RGB world also. Some info to share to avoid others scratching their heads..

    - 4000x with 3 fans (connected to commander core)

    - H150i Cappelix RGB

    - Corsair RGB vengeance RAM

iCue recognizes the commander core, but once you plug in the AIO, it becomes the H150i and the core disappears. I believe this is expected behaviour so don't think your core has broken.

The Corsair profiles here: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/icue-library unfortunately don't work. You import and nothing happens to any of the fans, just changes to the RGB on RAM.

Not sure if anyone has links to Corsair H150i profiles or if Corsair about to release any software to make compatible..

    Hi all

I have also tried these profiles, and have the same result ... only the RAM and keyboard light up ... none of my QL's (on the H150i Elite, and also on a separate Lighting Node Core light up). I have:

    • 5000D Airflow
    • H150i Elite
    • 7 x QL120's (6 of them on H150i controller, 1 on a Commander Pro with Lighting Node)
    • 3 x ML120 RGB's (these are the ones that came with the H150i - I have them in push/pull on the radiator)
    • Dominator Platinum RAM (White)
    • K70 keyboard,
    • M65 Mouse
    • The latest iCue 4.10.x I think it is ...

From a lighting perspective the H150i Elite controller handles the three front fans, and the 3 on the underside of the rad. The Commander Pro with Lighting Node handles the RBG for the QL120 rear exhaust, and the 3 x ML's in pull on top of the radiator. 9. Hi Lewis, Notepad!

I too have gone all Corsair in a new build, and am very keen to see these game profiles updated (Far Cry 5, and particularly Metro Exodus now the PC Enhanced Edition is out).

I have QL fans everywhere - only the keyboard and RAM light up, and I cannot see any profiles anywhere to edit.

Game integration is a key reason for me going all Corsair, so hoping there will be more of it, along with updates to old profiles and SDK integration ...

    Cheers

  10. Thanks ... I did watch this, and posted a comment on that video. I think they said "it was too much work". I don't know if they meant that it just could not be done, or if it could be done but was fiddly and time consuming.

Any chance that Corsair will modify the shroud slightly to give more clearance? I have seen postings on other forums saying cabling is a tight fit. I believe the 4000d actually has more clearance.

  11. Hi all

Does anyone have a Corsair 5000D Air Flow with the Lian Li Strimer Plus mobo 24 pin power cable - does it through the gap between the mobo and the shroud that covers the three fans on the side panel?

I am just planning my build, and not sure how bendy the Strimer is. I can see that people have done it with the 4000D, however the gap appears smaller in the 5000D.

    Cheers

  12. Hi all

Has anyone got the latest Dominator Platinum RGB RAM (preferably in white :-)) to work with Ryzen 5900x and ASUS ROG X570-E Gaming?

When I do a search on the Corsair site, and input that mobo, 8 and 16 gb sticks show up, however they are not listed in the ASUS QVL.

The only 32gb kit is the CMT32GX4M4C3000C15 - 3000, and black only, no white SKU.

Keen to hear of your success or otherwise!
