Attached is some photos when it crashed, oftentimes my screen become white, sometimes it's different colors or random colors.
I am quite sad that this is now happening to my beloved corsair one, I've had it for almost 5 years without any issue at all. And at this point I'm probably just going to get an xbox series S or something 🥲.
Any suggestion would really be appreciated.
Some more info:
- I have run RAM TEST and no issue.
- I have replace the thermo paste on the GPU a year back and it has been running relatively cool (always less than 75 degree celcius)
- I used DDU to uninstall GPU driver and reinstalled, still same issue
- I felt like it could have something with the GPU, but also maybe the PSU, so I tried to lower the power limit on the card, a bit more stable but still crashing
- A very unique thing is that it usually crashes in the first 4-5 mins of powering up the PC (whether from off, or sleep), and if it doesn't have any issue within the first 5 mins, it won't have any issue at all, I can just kept on playing games for hours without problem.
- Window's crash log dump looks like there are issues with display driver / GPU:
QuoteVIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116)
Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffe60fb8251010, Optional pointer to internal TDR recovery context (TDR_RECOVERY_CONTEXT).
Arg2: fffff807aeff0960, The pointer into responsible device driver module (e.g. owner tag).
Arg3: ffffffffc000009a, Optional error code (NTSTATUS) of the last failed operation.
Arg4: 0000000000000004, Optional internal context dependent data.

Nevermind... found out the issue, turned out it's the best outcome possible. The power cable was broken, changed to another one and everything worked like a champ.

Hi all,
One day my corsair one decided to not turn on anymore. No fan, no beep, nothing.
What I have tried:
1. Plugged power cable out and in, won't help
2. Change CMOS, won't help
3. Openned it up and plugged the power cable directly to the power supply, won't helpI don't know what I should do, I assume it's out of warranty by now (purchase Sep 2017) , and the thing is that it's quite a unique build, I don't want to bring it to a computer shop before consulting with you guys. I am in Singapore, which makes thing harder, I guess.
Any advice would really be appreciated.

So my GPU has gone up to 90+ Degree running at 100% in the last few days with my fans running at max speed and I figured that'd be enough.

FWIW it's a first generation Corsair One Pro (7700K 1080GTX) I bought in Sep 2017.
I just used a normal Artic MX-4 I've got for a long time. The process was straightforwards and not so difficult as I imagined.
I didn't bother doing it for the CPU though, as it rarely goes over 70 Degree or 50% load. All of my games would result in GPU bottleneck.
The result: it now run smoothly at 65 Degree max, a lot more slient now :)

Hi there,
It may be the case that you need new thermal paste for your GPU. If you are comfortable working on your system, that's a good place to start. 3+ years is enough to make the paste lose its effectiveness. I would also do the same for the CPU even if there is not much difference from when it was brand new.
You are right, I think it's probably the time I should do it, I am a bit scared because it's already out of warranty and if I screw it up I won't be able to get it fixed easily though :(:
Anyway, I also tried to undervolt it, so far actually quite good temp result - with no problem in stability. I will keep it going like that for a while to see how.

Hi guys, I've had my Corsair One for a little over 3 years now (first generation of Corsair One, it's the "pro", with 7700k 1080 GTX) with pretty much no complain or issue whatsoever.
Recently, I started noticing my GPU temperature and it's been going up quite a lot.
It's usually sitting at 82-83 degree when I keep it at full load for a while .
I remember it was around 68 - 70 degree max back then.
Just wondering what I can do to bring it down :sigh!:
PS: my CPU Max load is around 83 degree too (but it's been around it since the start so not much issue, plus I don't stress the CPU much anyway)
