Vengeance i8200 Bios update to 1656?

Recommended Posts

I've not seen or heard anything from Corsair regarding the Intel overheating issue. This machine comes with an Asus Z790-P Wifi MB currently with bios 9011, however on the Asus website, there is a bios update labeled 1656, that resets baseline on the Intel Core i9-14900K CPU. Question - should I update? Odd to go to a bios with such as low number from 9011 to 1656. Just trying to avoid baking the CPU. Currently, not overclocking as it's plenty fast enough for now.

Thanks in advance

I recently posted about this in the Pre-Built forums. I don't want to double post on the forums so I'll just bump yours. Hopefully Corsair updates their Bios soon as we cannot use ASUS's Bios update on Corsair's prebuilt OEM motherboards.
