mark20001626866199
Hi, Yesterday I replaced my ssd with a MP510 1,92Gb in a new Dell XPS 15 7590. Firmware: ECFM 12.2 The read/write speeds were very dissapointing. Any thoughts on what I could do to improve this. dellxpsuser
Hi, I have a Dell XPS 15 9560 and I believe the M2 SSD slot only has two lanes of PCIe running to it. I am a bit surprised your write speeds are not better than they are. Though this could be due to the firmware running your SSD not being fully compatible with the Dell motherboard. Nice to see that it works at least as well as my factory SSD does as far as speed goes. Do you know if it has affected your battery life?
mark20001626866199
I have not checked if it effected the battery live. I haven’t noticed it yet. But the performance is way of and I get significant different results every time
