Hi, I know you never said that but you did say the pro was designed based on temps of the cpu and not the case cooling which made me think that's what you meant. I'll defiantely start using the sensors too. I'm just a bit dumb when it comes to this stuff. I'm not used to the strange behaviour and heat that the new AMD chip seems to be presenting me with compared to my previous intel chips. I could just install and leave the intel chip to its own devices.

Hi, so you think I shouldn't use case fans on the Com Pro? I thought the best way to do it would be put 6 on each as I have 12 fans in total. Should I use splitters and have all 12 fans coming off the Commander Core? I actally have the AIO fans on the core as thats where the pump header fits into as it came with the core. I only bought the Pro was becasue I have so many fans. My main problem was that even when I manually set it the Commander Pro to quiet mode it wont go below 1500 rpm but on my other machine it will switch to Quiet mode however hot the cpu. I haven't installed the temp sensors into the machine but if I do will the fans respond to that or something I have to do manually? Sorry to ask so many questions.

So basically I have 2 problems now Commander pro fans (Case fans) full pelt even on quiet (high cpu temp?) and a node not lighting up after uninstalls, resets, multiple fan and led switches. I feel like giving up here. Sorry it took me so long to get back as I've been trying to solve this myself multiple times to check I wasn't going crazy. This is a brand new build with brand new items in my case.

https://imgur.com/ESH5YHG This is with the pump and fans set to quiet No matter if I have these on extreme or quiet the case fans which are connected to the commander pro seem to operate at over 1500 rpm. When I put the Pump/core on quiet the case fans seems to speed up to full blast at over 2000rpm. Are the case fans compenstaing for when I lower the radiator/ pump and fans? It seems that even when I do the slightest thing the fans ramp up alot and the cpu go's up to 45C and even over 50C

Justr recently I installed the capellix 150i with the Commader core included and also the Commander pro. I installed the pro because there wasnt enough fan headers on the core and I have 9 case fans and 3 more on the AIO. I also have an rgb hub installed. I have six of the fans for rgb in the core and 6 in the hub. I have six fans for power into the core and 6 into the commander When I have opened up Icue it was only showing the commander pro so I took the pro out and just had the core plugged into the usb headers and then the core was visible with the cpu and 150i Capellix but when I plugged the Commander pro back in and opened up I cue again the core isn't visible again but the AIO is on the Dashboard now but no CPU again. I don't have a clue why this is and it's starting to annoy me because I cant even lower some of the fan speeds that are on the core because it's just not there. Any advice would be kind. Actually I do see a box for sensors on the bottom leftbut still i should be seeing both the pro and core but I can't.

The freezes are on my current machine which is an intel. I'm actualy building a whole new system for the 5900x so no problems with any freezing as I havent put it together yet :D but I can book mark the link you give me if it happens. I will flash the board before I put the cpu into it anyway so fingers crossed, touch wood and all that. I appreciate the help there guys, cheers.

I have the older version of the USB extender but I don't know whether I trust it or not. I use it on the PC I have now and sometimes I get freezes. I just don't know if it has anything to do with it. I took it out but I still get the freezes. I have never worked where the come from. COuld be the GPU. I dont know if it's me being paranoid but are they safe to use? Seems like a lot of things coming off one usb header in the end. I always thought daisy chaining things in your computer was a risk. Maybe that's just fans. I think the new version uses sata and the old ones used molex. Maybe the new one is more power efficient. I have bought the HX850i in the end as I would prefer the security if I have spikes ghappening. I can always sell the other one as they have ten years and I've only had it 5. I don't think I have ever heard the PSU either.

Right, I catch what you are saying. It will work but it would probably be better safe than sorry. I'm worried about having enough USB headers for everything and may get a psu that doesnt connect to Ique. I'll be using a comander pro but the two usb ports on it will be taken up by my rgb node things so i doubt therewill be any room on my mobo. Would you say Ique is a must for psu's? Well this is what I'm talking about. Two contradicting replies. That hasn't helped me at all. I appreciate the help but I need more than guessing. I dont want to waste another 160-200 pounds if I don't have to. I do want to be safe however. CHeers for the replies guys but I'm still no nearer knowing lol

and I'm building a new system with an AMD 5900x and 3080 ti inside the Corsiar 7000D with 9 rgb fans and I'm worried if this will be enough power? On the Nvidia website it says you need 750 to run this card. I wont be overclocking for a long time until the system needs it. Do I need to up the power to 850? I have read so many different opinions. I was just wondering if some mods or knowledgeable person knows the real answer?:sigh!:

Do you think its the commander pro causing the freezing or the software?

Without going through twenty pages here is there anybody having problems with their games freezing with this program installed? Mine were freezing and I thought it may be my hard drive, gpu or cpu so they've all been swapped out and the only time it stopped freezing during games is when i uninstalled it and tried the game, it didn't freeze. Whether there is a problem with my PC and this program magnifies it I don't know but I really don't know what to do or how to control my cpu psu or commander pro with out this program. I may have to sell it all. Unless someone has experience with the same thing that is?
