Mandrake42 Posted October 20, 2018 Share Posted October 20, 2018 Hi folks. I bought the H60 SE back in 2013 when I got my i5 3570k. Anyway, I'm finally upgrading to a new motherboard and CPU, an Intel i5 8400, I was just wondering it the version of the H60 I got for the 3570k will fit onto the 8400. Basically I already have to buy a new MB and CPU so if I can save money but not having to buy new cooling that would be great, especially was I was quite satisfied with how the current cooler works. Mandrake42 Posted October 20, 2018 Author Share Posted October 20, 2018 The back of the box is no use obviously as the LGA 1551 chipset hadn't even been released when I bought the H60 SE in 2013. I'm just not sure how much that chipset differs in size and shape from the LGA 1555 of the i5 3570k and whether or not the mounting bracket provided back in 2013 will fit etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
