Biceptual
Hi, I'm new here. I apologize if this information has been gone over before. But I haven't been able to find exact answers to what I need and I want to make sure I purchase the correct things. I have a Corsair Vengeance C70 case. I'm planning on having 10-12 HD120 and HD140 fans installed in it. Also a Corsair Dominator RAM fan installed. I would like them all to be controllable with the Corsair Link software. Do I need one Commander Pro and stack the fan connections with splitters? Or do I need one Commander Pro and some lighing nodes? Or two Commander Pros? I appreciate any advice, thank you. red-ray
The best option is 2 x CLCP, but 1 x CLCP + 6 x 4-pin PWM Y cables would work. You will need 2 x LED hubs/controllers.
Biceptual
Thanks so much for your feedback. I notice the CLCP has only 2 inputs for corsair link cables. So if I have more than 2 link cables (PSU, RAM, AIO CPU cooler) that is another reason to have 2xCLCP?
red-ray
What do you mean by "corsair link cables" ? The CLCP does not have any Corsair Link Digital inputs. The reason for 2 x CLCP is so all 12 fans can be controlled without needing Y cables and all 12 fan speeds will be reported.
Biceptual
The products i'm looking at have either Corsair Link inputs or Corsair Link "integration". RM1000i has a Corsair Link cord input and cord H115i has "integration" Dominator Airflow Memory Fan has "integration" Not sure if that means they all need cord inputs? And if they do then where do they plug into? USB header or a Corsair link Product?
