cormogram
How can I be sure the firmware of my Corsair Force GT is the original? By original I mean free from malware, such as the ones created by the Equation Group[1,2,3]? StealthGaming
If you're really concerned about a malware infection, you can use Parted Magic to secure erase the SSD and then reinstall the Corsair firmware through the toolbox. If you have Windows 8.1 installed with UEFI, secure boot feature and latest BIOS (i wouldn't be to concerned). The UEFI / secure boot blacklist will stop it from loading. I would be more concerned with Windows 7, because of the excess coding that was not removed and lack of secure boot with blacklisting of known exploiting software.
