Ender117 Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Hi I got a HX1000 CP-9020139-NA 1000W in my desktop and it would buzz noticeably while running on UPS (BR1500G) battery power. When the main is alive the PSU runs silently. I am reading that it might because my UPS is not supplying clean power to the PSU. Does this harm my PSU or downstream components in anyway (like cause harmful irregularities in DC output)? I am not really worried about the noise itself as it's only for emergency.
