Quad channel DDR3 Corsair Dominator Platinums issue (LED + Light diffuser)

Hey guys,

 

I have this kit, but my problem is that the sticks do not have the included light diffuser (not the light bar or it's upgrade kit). Just the included light bar that connects to both LEDs.

 

Now, to make matters worst, the LEDs are very, very dim, is this normal? they're hardly putting out any light :(

Hi, I have a quad channel DDR3 Dominator Platinum kit and can confirm the LED lights are extremely dim. I replaced the standard white diffuser with blue and the LEDs are barely visible next to two (dim) blue LED fans installed in my case. The LEDs in my Dominator modules would only be noticeable if all other lighting was removed from my case.
