Tim L. Posted March 28, 2019 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Will Corsair ever upgrade the Air 540 to a modern computer? I really like the Air 540 design, But to me it falls short. I like the Look of the idea of air 240 which can be turned over to set on desk, with glass on top like the Air 740 but in glass on the top or side depending on how you rotate your case. The Air 540 is the perfect size with the hot swap bays and the 2 5.25 drive bays but wish it had USB 3.1 gen 2 added (HDMI would also be nice for VR) on front I/O and filters all around all 3 sides with bottom having the same grill as front and top. I would buy this case in a heartbeat with added features, Looks of the Air 240 grills on all 3 side to flip case, glass like the Air 740, USB 3.1 and maybe HDMI on front I/O, filters on all 3 sides plus the power supply and the exact layout of the Air 540 as it is now inside.
