PDG888 Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Hey All, Not sure if this should be made a sticky or not, but how about for the people building new Rigs a guide on which sata ports to use and if they should be in sequence ??? For example Intel chipset sata ports SATA6G_1,2,3,4 - 5 & 6 are SATA_EXPRESS_1 Asmedia chipset ports SATA6G_E1 & E2 - SATA6G_E3 & E4 are SATA_EXPRESS_E1 Taking into account not many people are buying sata express drives so ideally which ports are best to use in sequential order for best performance.
