M90 and Guild Wars 2

I recently bought the Corsair M90 because i figured the extra buttons would be perfect for use with the game, for those of you who haven't played it there are only 10 primary abilities with the first being an auto attack that triggers upon activating any other skill. My problem is that after setting up the macros the buttons won't actually activate my skills. I set up the macros as described by this guide http://www.corsair.com/media/cms/manual/Vengeance_M90_Software_Users_Guide.pdf

So for example, button 15 is set to be a keystroke of 6 on my keyboard, thus activating my heal, but nothing happens. What is odd is that if i am typing in chat i can hit the buttons and they will put their corresponding keystroke numbers into chat. Is it possible that Guild Wars 2 just isn't compatible?

After reading the post "K90 does not support guild wars 2" i got the idea to try switching my mouse to hardware mode, this actually fixed the issue i was having. So feel free to ignore this post.
