medwatt Posted December 16, 2018 Share Posted December 16, 2018 I got the Scimitar Pro because I wanted to use it with AHK. I have script that I was using with my previous mouse. So, I thought I just need to remap some of the buttons in the Scimitar for things to work. I want to use the mouse exclusively without the software running. I've been trying to get things working for the past 3 hours, but I just don't understand why things work as they do. 1. I want to map the side buttons to F13-24. For some reason, I can only only do that in software mode. Why ? This would solve all my problems. 2. Since I couldn't use F13-24, I decided to try using Key Combinations, like Shift + F1 for the first button, and so on. Things work as expected when the software is running, but as soon as I exit from it, I notice weird behaviour. I tried mapping button 1 to just "1". When the software is running, it works fine. But as soon as I exit, pressing button 1 once, will give eleven 1s. Why ? I'm so confused, right now. Anyone has any idea what I can do ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
