Samir
I saw an issue on the file server that has two of these in it, and one of them is claiming 'write protected'. I take it out and put it into another system to verify it's write protection state, and sure enough, even chkdsk /f won't work on it. Seems like this is a common problem, but I didn't expect to see it in such a high capacity drive with a solid warranty. I guess the made in taiwan should have given me a clue. RMA submitted and approved, so I'll get a new one at some point. Right now the focus is to make sure there's a backup of the data in case (before?) the other one fails.
