I recently bought a pair of Void Elite Wireless, because my old wired Void Pro (bought shortly after they launched) started making scrathing noises. My Void Pro was the best headphones I ever owned and I miss them already 😞
I noticed some things with the Void Elite Wireless, that makes them seem like a downgrade.
1. The sound quality is great, but the soundspace (if that's a thing) on the Elite is very narrow, compared the wide soundspace of the Pro. It seems like every sound on the Elite is coming from between the earpads, whereas on the Pro, It sounded like the sounds came naturally from a distance away from me. The only difference between the wired Pro and Elite Wireless (except the wire) is that the Pro had Dolby Audio and the Elite has standard 7.1 software in iCue. I tried using Dolby Atmos, but it's the same narrow soundspace, not a natural wide soundspace. It is surround, so I can clearly hear what direction the sounds are comming from. It is just very weird with a narrow soundspace. So could you guys please get Dolby Audio back???
2. I usually charge my Void Elite over night, when my PC is turned off. However, this turns on DISCOMODE on the headset and all light go crazy. Not only is this annoying as hell and wakes me up a few times, but it also increases the time it takes to charge the damn thing. Please let me turn this off and people who likes DISCOMODE can leave it on.
3. When charging my Void Elite, there is no way to see how much it has been charged. The icon in Icue, just says 'charging' and the same does the system tray icon. I have to unplug the cable to see how much batery is left. Please make it so I can see how much it has charged.
