Mahbub Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 so i am planning to get the corsair air 240 .. my gpu is sapphire r9 380 nitro,, the dimensions are 237.35*126.15*37mm... can someone please comfirmloe side panelsme that will this gpu fit comfortably into this case? and i mean the height not length.. can i comfortably close side panels ? rik1254 Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 It will be VERY tight when you plug in the power connectors. The max CPU cooler height is recommended at 120mm, so at 126mm, the GPU is already approaching the max limit without the power connectors. You will need to source a card that has the power connectors on the end of the card or a slimmer case. You will have to either buy a bigger case or a different graphics card (the XFX R9 380 looks a smaller option). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rik1254 Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Yes, that person was installing an XFX R9 290 DD which has a standard size PCB with a slightly raised heatsink, the problem with the Sapphire R9 380 Nitro is it doesn't use a standard PCB which means the power connectors are further out than normal.
