Has anyone considered drilling holes in the switches to increase the brightness?

Particularly at the top where the LED is under the housing? Just a small drill bit or something would do I think.

This is not something that we suggest and would essentially void the warranty of the keyboard.

Would like to see the lower part of the switches be black; 1/32 to 3/64". Would concentrate the lighting on the key symbol instead of the keyboard base.

I wouldn't think so if it was caused by something other than its regular intended use.

Corsair warranties dead LEDs if they just randomly go out.
