  1. This issue had been resolved by a user, "Deaven" before. My issues is the exact same as them. I have to put the mic IN MY MOUTH and then it can pickup my voice. When it can pickup my voice, lets just say the audio quality reminds you of 60's radio host audio quality. My attempt to fix : Verifying that it was plugged into the correct plugs. Verifying that it was fully plugged in. Verifying that the mute button was not pressed. Plugging the jack into a usb into audio jack adapter. The speaker still work but the mic once again barely picks my voice Testing it with windows loopback test, discord, obs, valorant. The same issue persisted. Testing the mic on other devices, it dont work Under 'Recording Devices -> Properties -> Advanced' for the headset, set the Default Format from whatever the initial one (CD or DVD Quality iirc) was to Studio Quality. (No change was noticed.) Under 'Recording Devices -> Properties -> Levels' for the headset, set the Microphone slider to 100 (was at 50). (No change was noticed.) Under 'Recording Devices -> Properties -> Levels' for the headset, set the Microphone Boost slider to +10.0dB, then +20.0dB, then +30.0dB. (Voice volume increased slightly, feedback noises increased exponentially. This solution is nonviable as I require my voice to be as clear as possible.) Updating audio drivers. (Drivers are up to date.) If possible, I would not want to install 3rd party software. Thanks in advance
  2. I'm at my wits end with this problem. Yesterday I was given the HS35 headset to replace my old Logitech G430 headset, which was being held together with glue. The speakers on the HS35 work wonderfully, but for some reason, the microphone is barely registering my voice, only getting an incredibly quiet input when I am practically yelling and nearly eating the mic at the same time. My attempts at fixing this are as follows: - Verifying that it was plugged into the correct plugs. - Verifying that it was fully plugged in. - Verifying that the mute button was not pressed. - Plugging the HS35 into the USB port of the Logitech G430 headset. (Interestingly enough the speakers still functioned, and it registered as a G430, but the mic issue was unchanged. I have also tested everything below both with the jacks and the USB port, for good measure.) - Testing the mic in different software, to ensure that it was not an issue with just one program. (Tested programs include: Discord, Audacity, Microsoft Teams) - Testing the mic on a different computer, to ensure that it was not an issue with the headset itself. (Mic seems to function fine on other devices.) - Restarting the computer with the headset plugged into it. - Restarting the computer with the headset unplugged from it. - Under 'Recording Devices -> Properties -> Advanced' for the headset, set the Default Format from whatever the initial one (CD or DVD Quality iirc) was to Studio Quality. (No change was noticed.) - Under 'Recording Devices -> Properties -> Levels' for the headset, set the Microphone slider to 100 (was at 50). (No change was noticed.) - Under 'Recording Devices -> Properties -> Levels' for the headset, set the Microphone Boost slider to +10.0dB, then +20.0dB, then +30.0dB. (Voice volume increased slightly, feedback noises increased exponentially. This solution is nonviable as I require my voice to be as clear as possible.) - Updating audio drivers. (Drivers are up to date.) Things I have not been able to attempt so far: - Updating device drivers. (No drivers were found for the headset on my pc to update, and I have been unable to find the proper drivers to download, possibly due to frustration/fatigue at troubleshooting for 8 hours now.) - Updating Windows 10. (Currently stuck at 0% for 6 hours now.) - Downloading & installing a 3rd party program that claims to have the solve the problem. (I'd really rather not.) I would really appreciate any solution that anyone has at this point, because I cannot find anything else and I just want to enjoy not having to glue my primary means of communication back together every three days. Thanks in advance!
  3. THE FACT THAT THIS IS A RESPONCE IS LAUGHABLE AND MAKES ME NOT WANT TO BUY ANY HEADSET FROM YOU .SO ADD IT
  4. I have a HS70 Bluetooth (so not PRO Wireless), and I've tried to use it on my PC Windows 10 with USB connexion. But when I plug them, I always got sound or mic, but not two at the same time. I tried with Bluetooth on my phone and two work together correctly. I use ICUE with last version. I have this trouble both on Discord and in the Windows parameters. The mute button on the headset is deactivated.
  5. Saludos. Recientemente he estado hablando con este micrófono y repentinamente la recepción de voz es tan baja que es imposible escuchar mi voz. He tosido infinidad de vez al microfono debido a que estoy enfermo. ¿Es posible reparar el microfono? Gracias
  6. Hello, I recently purchased an HS45, and while I am pleased with the quality of these headphones, I did encounter a small problem. While I was on Discord with a friend, I muted my microphone via the built-in button on the headset. He couldn't hear my voice (even when blowing on the mic), however, he could hear the music coming into my headset. I tried to record a voice clip with the Windows 10 Dictaphone, and the result was the same: when I mute the mic, you can still hear the sound coming from the headset. I should point out that the stereo mix is disabled, and that in the sound settings of the Windows control panel, the microphone does not seem to be activated when I listen to music (the bars do not turn green), even though the dictaphone records the music (even with the volume at 100%). Thanks in advance for your help. Simon Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  7. I bought the Corsair HS35 and i cant make the microphone hear, i have audio from everything except the microphone, my headpohe jack and microphone are combined. help.
  9. Hey everyone. I own the void elite headset. I have owned it for a few months now and it has been working perfectly fine. Today I hop in discord and no one can hear me. I tested my audio with three different online testers and still nothing. I combed my settings making sure it was compatible and allowed access to as well. I also un installed Icue and tried different versions of icue as well and still nothing. I also updated windows 10. Any tips or a fix?
  10. Hey there. So ive been using my Void Wireless SE since June 2016 and i absolutely love it. Its just great, even got a few of my friends to buy it. Sure, there have been some hickups with the software over the years but nothing major. The headset works just fine, the battery still holds up (although i will replace the battery soon i think) and its just great, however: The mic arm has that system where you can fold it up and its supposed to stay in one of like 10 positions (excuse my choice of words, im not a native speaker). That doesnt really work for me anymore. It is no longer staying in the positions i put it into, it just folds down. That means, when i want the mic out of the way (when drinking something for example) it will immediately drop into the lowest position. There was a bit of feedback back when i first got it, but now it feels like the mechanism that keeps the arm fixed has just used itself up. So, as i am out of warranty and think of myself as fairly capable of repairing stuff (really into RC and Hardware) i decided to open the left earpiece. as may or not be able to see, the little bumps have been mostly carved away over the years (well, to be fair i have had that problem for about 3 years but i didnt really care until now). So, back to my question: Doesn anyone have any idea where i could get a replacement for this? I`d go ahead and have it 3D printed if Corsair still has the documentation and is willing to share it. Maybe someone has a dead unit and would have thrown it away (i`d disassemble it to get that one small part). Im not a fan of throwing away electronics that still work perfectly fine, especially when they are not outdated. Would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. Greetings, Tea Edit: I forgot to mention, im from europe so i cant really use corsairs replacement shop to buy new cable and new eracups. (it got damaged on the micro usb side a bit and the earcups started having the "leather" flake off)
  11. I have a Harpoon mouse and a Strafe keyboard and wanted to bind a button in one of them (or both) to mute the microphone on my USB headset (non-Corsair). There is no option for that on the media buttons in ICUE software. I see that some threads were opened about this but all suggested third party software. Can this be implemented?
  12. As the title suggests, the in line mute switch on my shp9500 headset does not work when the headset is plugged into the audio jack on the st100 headset stand. This means that microphone will still work when I should be muted. The mute switch works when plugged into the audio jack directly on my pc case so the problem is with the st100 stand and not the headset or the cable/mute switch. This has already caused me a lot of grief as I was unaware of this problem until during a work related zoom call where I thought I was muted but I actually wasn't. Is there a way to fix it and if not would I able to return the product for not working as intended? Thank you in advance.
  13. I purchased this product and MAN was I excited, I've always wanted a corsair void product. I get it home, do all the plastic peeling, and plug that baby in through my motherboard's audio IO. It doesn't show up as a device on iCUE, and I have to change my audio settings to Realtek to be able to even hear anything from them. I also change the microphone default device to Realtek microphone and while it picks sound up, i have to like TAP it hard for it to pick anything up. My friends in discord told me I sounded like I was 50 feet away in an empty warehouse. I'd really love some advice about this but I do plan on going back to walmart around ~5PM est to return it. It'd be nice to have a solution by then because I love the feel of this headset. (Edit: I'll be checking this thread every half hour.)
  14. The headset hardware mutes itself automatically when I plug it into my console(PS4) or my PC. The mute button on the headset itself works fine on the PC, but on the PS4 I can't get it to headset mute turned off. The mic works until the initializing sound plays, then it's gone. Nothing I try in the PS4 settings does anything, and there isn't a "disable hardware auto-mute" button in the CUE as far as I know. Any suggestions are appreciated. It was working up until a few weeks ago, if that helps at all. The headset firmware is fully updated. Tl;Dr: Mic started auto-muting on PS4 and PC, hardware mute button on headset works on PC but not on PS4, firmware is fully updated.
  15. I would like to start out by saying that my corsair voids are around 2-3 years old and are definitely out of warranty, but this problem only recently sprouted up out of nowhere and it's insanely annoying and getting progressively worse. I'll begin with the smallest problem, which is persistent enough to be insanely annoying. I'm playing a game with my friends while in a discord voice call with them. All good. Then, it's silence. My mic stops working and I can't hear my friends. I go into my discord voice and video settings and see that it's set to default for both input and output, and I know that in my sound control panel that everything but my voids are disabled for audio and recording. Back to the discord settings. I found that going into the drop-down and just simply re-selecting "default" for my input and output fixes the problem for a couple seconds/minutes. This doesn't always work, however. If it doesn't work, it's usually because all my audio is cut out. Restarting my headphones, moving ports with the adapter, etc. all don't work. Restarting my computer works but it happens so often that I'll spend more time restarting than actually using my computer. So, one alternative solution I've found is going into the iCUE software and forcing a software update onto my headphones, which fixes the problem instantly, but again only until it happens again in a couple minutes. But wait, the problems don't end there. Now let's get into my most played game, Rainbow Six Siege. Oh boy, I love how I can hear exactly where no one is because my headphones decided to cut out mid game. No problem, I'll try restarting them. Nope, bluescreen, game crash, or whatever other issue. Thanks for the abandon penalty because the game literally won't load again! Oh and while you're at it, please be sure to destroy my ears with random audio glitches that don't happen with any other headset, that's fine. I'm sorry if I sound mad, but it's because I am. I don't see any reason for these problems to be happening and I am really contemplating swapping to a different set of headphones (I'm thinking HyperX Cloud Stingers). What do I do to fix my problems? I'm extremely frustrated and hate having to deal with this on a daily basis. My headphones are out of warranty so I know there's no point in contacting the Corsair support email as the last time I did they just asked me if I had a warranty, and when I said no they just told me they couldn't do anything.
  16. There's a few old threads in this forum ranging all the way back to 2015, which describe issues of low mic audio, and I suspect that many of the reports in those threads might actually be related to what I'm about to share, and it is not a simple low-volume issue. This is a new headset, and my friends pointed out that they can't hear most of what I'm saying. Keyword here is "most" and not "all" - if the volume were consistently quiet then I can find a way to artificially boost it, but if it's fluctuating then boosting it will also boost the parts that they can already hear, turning my friends deaf. Not that I have anything against deaf people, but I wouldn't need a headset in the first place if I wanted to talk to deaf friends... I digress. Anyways, I decided to test this by turning on playback on discord (and other apps), and humming a loud monotone into the mic. As it turns out, it picks up my hum just fine for the first second or two, then heavily drops. Here's a visualization from audacity: After the volume drops, it's still there, but extremely quiet. This happened consistently every single time that I tested it. I can share more screenshots like the one above, but I hate uploading to imgur. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling iCue, I tried messing around with the audio settings, uninstalling/reinstalling audio drivers, and I tried using different USB ports (including 2.0 and 3.0 ports), and this has consistently behaved in the exact same manner. Is there some sort of noise cancellation or equalizer built into this headset's mic? I tried checking the audio settings and the iCue control, and I haven't found anything. The closest thing I found is the "AGC" checkbox (Sound -> Recording -> Custom), but that's off by default doesn't seem to change anything when toggled - is it possible that it's just on by default and can't be changed? I need some help here.
  18. Hi, i bought a Void Pro RGB Wireless headset yesterday. Everything except the microphone if working. As soon as i turn on the headset the voice says "microphone off" and a red led light is showing on the mic. I have read that i might be a compatibility issue with Windows 10. Since yesterday afternoon i have looked trough this forum, Corsairs support page and a countless number of other pages for a fix. So far it dosen´t seem like Corsair have any intention of fixing this or acknowledge that its a big issue. They give some sporadic tips on how one might be able to solve it. I have tried everything i can in order to get the microphone to work. Looked at my privacy settings, setting it as default, reinstalling the iCUE software, tried with the software on and off, Updating the headset, pairing it again and a lot more so called fixes with no result. So i am at the roads end here. Either i get it working today, or i return this for another working product from a different company. I have never used a Corsair headset before. But if it this kind of quality, with almost no support or any official patch to fix this, i will never use a Corsair headset again. I mean come on Windows 10 has been the most used system for years now. If they have known about the problem for this long and still have not come up with an official fix, they are not interested in fixing it now either.
  19. I've been dealing with this since the first time I turned on the headset. Excited as hell to try them out, I set them all up and immediately ran into an issue that I have been unable to resolve. The mic will automatically mute as soon as the headset has turned on, and can not be unmuted. I have flipped the mic up and down a million times, I've reset the microphone by holding the mute button and all that dozens of times. I switched into every USB port I have. I uninstalled and then reinstalled iCue. I have tried everything. I reached out to Corsair about the issue. After 2 days, they finally responded, telling me to- you guessed it- try the reset procedure again. Of course, I obliged, and still nothing. I told them this in the email, and they have still yet to get back to me. At this point, I am considering just returning the product and ordering a new one. My only fear is that the issue is a software one, and that if I order another one, the issue will remain. I am tired of wasting my time on this.
  20. Hello everyone. I noticed a few threads mentioning mic problems with their HS70 wireless headsets but while going through them none of the proposed solutions seem to work. You see I have the mic on, everything is plugged in right and the mic is registered by Windows 10 as a device but I am getting nothing when I speak. Checked privacy settings to see if that was the problem but my mic is enabled for all the listed applications. Not sure what to try next to solve the problem. Any ideas?
  21. Very recently (~1 month), I bought a pair of Corsair Void Pro's. They served me quite well for the most part. But yesterday, I noticed that my microphone was acting up. It seems to no longer record my voice, or basically anything else for that matter. I feel as if there was some physical damage to the headset as it is still detected as the input device and the mic plays some low-frequency static when I adjust it. I usually handle the headset with care and can not recall any incidents that could have damaged them, though I am mostly sure the damage on the mic is physical. Before potentially buying a new headset or microphone, I would like to know if you guys have any tips on what I could do to fix it on my end, even if it's temporary. Thanks.
