Good day, people, I got problem with Corsair M.2 SSD MP510 480GB after yesterday (15 April 2020) Windows 10 Update. I've been using this SSD for a bit more than a year, and everything was fine. Yesterday in late evening I found pending Windows update, so I pushed "Update and shutdown" button and finished using PC. This morning I found my PC not booting up from mentioned SSD, where Windows 10 was installed. After struggling all day, I've failed to bring the disk back to life, but at least now I can describe the problem. So the problem is the SSD stopped to be recognized by Windows and BIOS. No single program or application or utility or BIOS can detect my SSD now. Previously, when everything was fine, in BIOS this device has name "Force MP510" and it was also visible from Windows utilities like Disk Management or others. Couple of hours later, after tweaking BIOS options, I made it back semi-visible, but it's name now is PHISON SSD E12, what is chipset's name and not disk's model name. So my first thoughts was like it's firmware is broken and I should probably update it. I've found Corsair SSD Toolbox app to update firmware hopefully, but I've failed. Toolbox doesn't recognize the SSD as a disk it can work with, so the button to update firmware appears gray and is not clickable. I've been trying to install firmare (12.3) from MSI installer (found it on this forum), but it was not able to download firmare, so this trial failed too. I've been trying to plug-off and plug-in back the SSD to M.2 slot, but that didn't helped. I've updated BIOS to latest one (2020), as mine was 2 years old (2018), but that didn't helped as well. Now, I have no more ideas how to get it back to life. I've paid ~130 EUR for it and it would be really disappointing to throw it to waste bin after only 1 year of using. So I am hopefully asking - is there anything I can do with it? I am attaching 2 photos so you can see more details. Thank you very much for your answers in advance.

Good morning all, Let me introduce myself Frédéric, 52 years old and passionate about IT. I ask you for advice or information because I am facing a problem which I cannot find the solution. I am building a desktop PC that is composed: CM MSI X570 Unify Ryzen 5 3600 Corsair DDR4 3600 memory CG sapphire Pulse RX 3600 XT 6gb CORSAIR Force MP600 M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD My problem is that my SSD is not detected in the bios, therefore I cannot install WIN10, Well, I can do nothing. The bios has been updated with the latest version that MSI offers. I set the parameters to UEFI. So, if you have advice I am interested. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have recently built a computer and got the whole pc running without any problems. I was able to install windows on the mp500. The drive itself was working properly no issues that I could see. After getting all the programs I needed on it I went ahead and turned off the pc to install a mass storage hdd. The hdd didnt show up in windows so i decided to restart the pc once more. After that second restart windows would not start from the mp500. I disconnect any storage other than the mp500 and still could not get it to boot to windows. The drive is also not showing up in the bios. The windows repair tool says there is not readable drive. My ssd is not being read and I would like some assistance on the matter if possible. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may give me. Not my pc its a pc I built for a friend so I will leave the specs down here: MOBO: Gigabyte Z270P-D3 CPU: Intel Core i5 7500 GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GAMING (Single Fan) OS BOOT DRIVE: Corsair Force MP500 Storage: Seagate 2TB BarraCuda SATA RAM: 8GB Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400 MHz (2 are in the system) I lent her an extra RAM stick that is the same exact model I bought the same time she bought hers. PSU: Thermaltake Smart 600W 80+ White OS: Windows 10 Home Thanks again for any help ^_^
