Cue 2 add delay to lighting effects

Hello , i was trying to add some delay to a wave effect so that it starts after "x" ammount of time by changing the slider on the graph so that if i have 10 seconds lighting the wave starts at 5. But changing the start point only affects the lighting of the wave itself.

The only way i found to approximate the effect was to change the lighting period.

Yes, you will need to add the delay to the lighting period, have the intial delay programmed with 0 opacity, and then the rest of your effect.

In some cases, you can use a TIMER action to cause your delay in lighting, or by having the TIMER trigger a profile change where your lighting is set up in the new profile to start when that profile begins.
