Can anyone confirm what the H80i v2 will run at with no Link software installed? This is my Linux server and there is no good Link option for Linux. I will run a VM once I get the server up and configured to do so, then I will just run a Win 10 vm and install the Link software. However, this may take a day or two, so I hope it runs at least in the Balanced Mode.

When I run test on the hd tune pro fast test "HDD SEAGATE 2TB (ST2000DM001-1CH164)" My PC break 5 in 5 seconds if corsair link service open. if I close corsair link, the brakes stop.

Asus Prime B350 Plus Bios 0806
Windows 10 pro x64
16gb ddr4 Fury 2133mhz
Ryzen 5 1600x.
Corsair H100i )corsair Link v4.8.0.82)
SSD 120GB V300 NOw Kingston
Seagate 2TB ( ST2000DM001-1CH164)
PSU Seasonic 520
VGA AMD R9 270X

All c++ redistributable x86 + x64( 2005,2008,2010,2012,2013,2015)

Tested in SSD and not breaks test

This one is Resolved, and without any help from this forum!

I used another pc and installed Link software. Using a extra power supply, I connected the H80i v2 to power (H80 sitting on the workbench and not installed in a computer) and used the pc to configure everything. The last step is to go to Devices and make that new config your default, it will say it has successfully saved the config to the device. From there on it will remember the settings and you never have to use Link software. It's up and running now in my Linux server with nice low cpu temps.

Hello, my RAM doesn't save the color setting I want if I turn off my PC (if I restart it does save) and also my fans spin fast and slow until I open Corsair Link (only if I turn off my PC and turn on, if I restart is fine)

Both Link and CUE are causing high idle clocks on my Ryzen based system, I have it overclocked to 4GHz using P-State values so voltage goes up or down with the clocks to keep temps and volts down when not needed and when CUE + Link are not running in the background temps, Clocks and volts go way way down, With them running in the background temps go up and volts go up along with clocks and then stay like that until CUE + Link are shutdown.

Any chance this could get a looksy in the next update ?

Default Mouse Lag Bug
Corsair Link 4.8.0.82

Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

When the corsair link software is running in the background and the foreground I experience mouse lag issues.

When the software is running either in the background or in the foreground I get mouse lag skipping issues. I have tracked it down to the corsair link software as it stops when I completely close it. Is this a known issue for this software version?

My controller is not found, I tried updating it through windows, but i cant -.-

I uninstalled corsair link and reinstalled it, but the problem continues.
I cant use my custom profiles and it does not give me some information that i used to get.

Not quite, what is the driver error code reported via Device Manager? Look at the properties. If the driver error is code 52 see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=916582

ooops, haha, yes code is 52, but... the solution is hard for me, cause my english is not the best, especially, in computing area my vocabulary sucks and is very hard for me... i think i must wait for a new version or i must to wait for them to sign their drivers... -.- ty for all anyway :c

  1. You need to use the driver I attached to http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=856104
  2. Download http://forum.corsair.com/forums/atta...1&d=1464936609 which is hydros7289-3.6.zip
  3. extract file files
  4. From Device Manager Right/Click on the Corsair USBXp Driver and select Update Driver Software...
  5. Press Browse my computer ...
  6. Set the location where you expected hydros7289-3.6.zip to.
  7. Select the Hydros 7289 device.
