Okiedoke
I also had the same concern. The efficiency/load graph only goes down to 10% load. What is the expected efficiency when idle in Windows 8? CorsairLink 2 shows my efficiency between 68% to 72% at idle. Do I have a faulty PSU? I'm using a 4770k Haswell and GTX 690. CorsairLink 2 also doesn't let me choose any mode other than default and fixed for the ax1200i. In reviews, I've see that you're supposed to be able to set a custom curve? madmecca1975
Mine sits at 99 when idle and occasionally drops low 80s if iam playing games and it goes to video part of game so I would say its software bug plus it might be they need to update the software for the haswell CPU and I don't know about custom fan curve for psu hope this helps
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted July 11, 2013 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 11, 2013 Unfortunately, Link is quite inaccurate at really low loads. It can't really be used as a reference at 150W and below. The lowest efficiency is actually going to be about 82% with an AX1200i.
