ophantom
Hello everyone! I use a pair of Corsair Virtuoso headphones, standard and not SE if that matters and they were working fine until I did the stupid mistake of installing the prompted update. Well, I installed it and then the headphones started being weird, mic didn't work and sound was strange, the mic started working again after I made some tweaks but the sound is no longer like it used to be. I often play a FPS game where the sound of your surroundings are crucial and I can feel that the sounds are somewhat muffled and not as crisp as they used to be. Yes, I deleted the headphones from the device manager, reinstalled icue software, installed an older version as well. Needless to say I'm having no luck to returning the sound to it's previous state. I also installed a windows update a couple of days ago but I am 99% sure this happened because of the icue update. All help is appreciated and thanks in advance! P.S. I use it in wireless mode by connecting the dongle into my ST100 RGB.
Corsair Employee Corsair Elito Posted September 15, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 15, 2020 Hi Try a soft reset, With the headset powered on and in wireless mode, hold the mute button until the unit powers off. Then once it powers off put it into wired mode, and then back to wireless. Test the headset. Contact Support @ https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us If you have more issues.
