After reading a few stickies I see that reading the SMART isn't always reliable, so I thought I'd need some input here.
Device Model: Corsair CSSD-F60GB2 Serial Number: 10336518580009990133 Firmware Version: 1.1 I bought Corsair SSD F60 today, installed Ubuntu 10.04 x64 on it and went on and everything seemed to be working great. But after a while I got this: "DISK IS BEING USED OUTSIDE DESIGN PARAMETERS", and said that my disk was failing. This is the SMART status output: Code:

I'm sorry that I forgot to change the language of it before uploading, but the important parts are still in English. ![]() Does this look good or bad? 93% doesn't tell me too much, since the drive hasn't been used more then 3 hours. |

I've seen alot of similar reports from a range of SSDs, even new ones. People keep asking why their brand new SSDs show a health status of below 100%. There's a sticky on the issues of SMART reporting and SSDs, It's right at the top of the page. Should help clear things out for you.

Yes I read it, just wanted to make sure. I guess I can ignore the Ubuntu error for now.
Otherwise the performance (on Linux at least, will need to configure Windows) is really good, and no noticeable problems. |

I probably won't think too much about it as long as it doesn't drop (a lot) more.
