H100i v2 - Can only set pump to Quiet or Extreme?

I wonder if anyone else has this but the only profiles available for my H100i v2's Pump are 'Quiet' and 'Extreme'. I cannot set it to Balanced or any other custom profile that I create.

Hi bud.. You can not set 'custom' pump speeds. that series of pump has 2 speeds.. Extreme (used to be Performance in Corsair Link) and Quiet... that's it...

yup that's what i have too on my pump profiles.
what would be the recommended setting for the pump though?
i live in a tropical country, so i was wondering if it's safe to keep it at extreme as i don't even notice an audible change.

Try it and see. Set it to either and let it run for a couple of days, monitoring the temps, then switch to the other setting and do the same again. If there's little or no difference, I would set it to Quiet because the lower pump speed may be less stressful. I run my on Quiet all the time as there was no noticeable difference, but then, I live in England, which (to put it politely) would struggle to be described as tropical.

hi snapper69, yup that's where am at right now...monitor and switch. do agree on the point of quiet profile potentially being less stressful.
