Default Keybindings

Hi there,
got me a nightsword RGB mouse and icue for Mac.

All I need is to fire different keycombinations from the buttons of the mouse, such as SHIFT S, SHIFT M, P, ;, etc.

How do I program this? It seems like a super simple task, but nothing sticks and I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Is this a remap or a macro?

Please help, thanks

It's remap if you just want this button to be remap to any other button.
But for more complicated actions such as SHIFT S, macro is what you want.

Below is how you can set it up using record macro, and you can then customize it to how you want
