Unhappy Two week old K95 keyboard appears to be locked ...

Hello friends:

I received my Corsair K95 keyboard two weeks ago and have been using it as
a standard keyboard with my Linux PC without any issue
(I don't use it for gaming; I use it for software development purposes).

Today however, the keyboard stopped working. It doesn't work (1) at the
BOIS level -- for example, it doesn't respond to keystrokes when I'm trying to
type in the BIOS unlock password that allows the PC to boot, and (2) it
doesn't respond at the booted Linux O/S level either.

Again, this all worked fine for two weeks. No issues whatsoever.

Looking more closely, I noticed that, in fact, not just the keys aren't working
anymore, but none of the buttons are working either: the brightness button
isn't changing the brightness (the keyboard does light up, but that's it); the
M-keys don't do anything; the button with the keyboard symbol doesn't
change the lighting pattern, and so on.

It's like the keyboard electronics/firmware got stuck. And I tried all four (4)
positions of the BIOS switch to see if that helped. No luck.

Has anyone seen this? Is there a way (hopefully key combination sequence) to
reset this keyboard? (that option would be useful since I don't have MS
Windows handily running). Do I need to return this?

Thanks you in advance!

If possible, can you try the keyboard on another computer?

Does K95 work in linux or do you still have problems with it ? I m also thinking of buying it. I use Manjaro linux. Its hard to find a linux user with K95, I am happy that I found you.
