Cyclops25
My friend of mine has almost exactly the same system as me (exept he has Corsair 800D case) but it is MUCH MUCH more quiet. and i suspect its my HX-1000 that causes the fan noise. but i need to be sure before i make a RMA request so i was wondering Is there a way to "force" the fan on the HX-1000 to spin upp and down? SpeedFan dosent seem to be able atleast. When i play games the noise get even louder and is almost unbearable. and its not my Video card or CPU that causes the noice. nor the fans in the "ninehundred and two". i have stoped them all with my finger. So im PRETTY sure it must be the PSU but just want to be sure.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 12, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 12, 2010 There is no way to manually adjust the fan speed on the PSU fan. If the fan is louder than it should be then we can definitely get it replaced for you. Request an RMA
