jeroompje
check your power settings (use high performance) enable hot plug in bios for the drives on this forum other users reported the same problems with this version of irst. try the 11.6.x drivers.. http://www.overclock.net/t/1244232/asus-asrock-msi-gigabyte-bioss-with-updated-raid-orom
100PIER
Hi jerocompje, Thanks for the excellent suggestion. I used high power settings (not economical settings) in BIOS, but the 2 SATA III (6G) ports used for CORSAIR SSDs were not set up to 'hot plug'. (ASUS BIOS Version 1709). Do i have also set 'hot plug' for others non RAID HDDs connected on MARVELL component ? Is this 'fix' needed because it is a CORSAIR SSDs (firmware) issue ? or because a Windows issue ? or because a iRST driver issue ? or because a ASUS BIOS issue ? or because of a mix of some of these potential issues ? So, can you detail more the origin of the problem ? I'll do tests soon. Regards, 100PIER
jeroompje
it's one of well known troubleshooting tips for ssd's. you better not connect ssd's to marvell chips. the tip is general, so not corsair-specific it could be driver related, as i pointed out. succes, Jerome. I got always the same BSOD at PC wakeup time even with BIOS parameters recommendation. How can we prove the problem is coming from iRST driver ?
