Sammaye
I got my 570X today and noticed strange, badly done holes on the back of the case which scratch my fingers to pieces that I do not see in Google image results and I would like to ask you guys if these holes are normal. Attached are some pictures, is this normal? https://imgur.com/Vzj5qVh https://imgur.com/K8JPins
Matt9882
Those don't look like they're factory to me - did you buy the case new?
Sammaye
I did straight from ebuyer.co.uk, it's not the first time either, I have had two cases from them (RMAs) and both had these holes, so I thought I would come here and ask. snapper69
Go here: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/landing/single?id=GDQ It's difficult to see but it appears that there are some holes there that aren't being used.
Corsair Employee Corsair CJ Posted November 15, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 15, 2017 I wouldn't worry about those holes, they are not a manufacturing defect and are simply not used. You'll often see this when there are a series of cases based on a similar platform, for example, snapper posted the GDQ build in the 460X, those holes are where the hinges for the 400C's side panel would be mounted (400C uses two hinges and a latch, while 460X uses a series of screws to mount the glass panel).
