Scimitar Pro RGB Mouse buttons as their own function?

Hello, I have not been able to find an answer to this question (partly, I presume, due to the fact that I'm not able to explain it well). I understand the mouse buttons Scimitar Pro RGB can be mapped 1,2,3, etc; or even keystrokes. What I want to know is if these buttons can be mapped in various games as mouse 4, mouse 5, etc.

For example, on my old $20 mouse from Target, if I mapped the side buttons (forward/back functions) in a game, they would appear in game as mouse 4, mouse 5. Is this possible with this mouse? I play a lot of tab-targeting games and have my current set-up to use alt-(1-10). You can imagine how often I end up alt-tabbing due to this?

Any help regarding this issue would be awesome, thanks!

Maybe I dont understand your question right, but i am gonna try.

Answer 1:

The mousse buttons can be recognized in game, but it does depends on your hardware.

Answer 2:

Do you want to remap your keys to not used keys, for example : F13, F14, F15, and use this to bind them to in game actions.

Answer 3:

or, do you want to create 1 button that does handle (alt+ 1-10).

then you need to create a macro, with the following.

MACRO content: (alt+1)

- key alt down

- random delay here - lets say 20/50ms

- key 1 down

- random delay here - lets say 20/50ms

- key 1 up

- random delay here - lets say 20/50ms

- key alt up

Hoping one of these is an right answer :)
