Ravi29 Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 I have to replace one of the slots of my Vaio with CMSO4GX3M1A1333C9 4 GB RAM. But its giving BSOD as soon it starts. I also ran memorytest which is restarting system once it get started. Is there is some issue with the RAM? MB: Sony VAIO Corp Chipset: intel havendale/clarkdale rev. 02 Intel hm55 Slots are: 2 Nos. Ravi29 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Share Posted February 24, 2014 Yes i am removing a Hynix 1GB ram from one of the slot to add this. The other ram is 2GB ADATA PC3-8500, 1066Mhz. And if the Corsair module does not run all by itself there is a chance it may be incompatible due to loimitations between your cvhiopset and the modules construction.
