Corsair RM750X and nvidia sli

Hello:

I'm going to buy a Corsair rm750x, and I'm also planning to buy a second 1070ti for my build, would like to know if the PSU is going to provide enough power or if I need a more powerful PSU. (Sorry for the newbie question).

Thank you so much in advance.

I had an RM750x on my build after getting a second 980 ti / SLI late 2016 the PSU fan was on constantly whilst gaming so I got a ax1200i - It was pulling over 650W I seem to recall. It never cut out or tripped but the rig got pretty noisey I would go for an 850 or better a 1000 to future proof yourself a bit. Not sure what a 1070 pulls powerwise compared to 980 ti not in the market for new GPUs just yet. Maybe next year

It can definitely depend on how much your system draws overall, which is why DevBiker recommends putting your system build into a calculator like PPP. Like Jonosg also mentions, the same draw will cause different power supplies to act differently depending on what they're capable of, so it all depends!
