Sad vengeance 2100 crashes

Let's get straight to the point my vengeance 2100 crashes when i play civilization 5 more specifically to those who played the game in single player when a civ leader tries to talk to me I hear a crackling noise and then either it still works or crashes (the headset dongle i mean the game keeps going and the headset tries to reconnect) it's like gambling 50/50 chance (It only happens at this specific scenario) anyone familiar with this problem if so is there a fix I would love to hear it

Default

Do you mean the headset loses connection while playing Civilization V?
Have you tried adjusting the Default format which can be found in the audio settings in Windows?
Have you tried a different USB port?

If it only happens on the specific scenario, it may probably be the game that is causing the issue.
