:(
I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue after all and Corsair are trying to fix it with a firmware update. Doesn't seem to be working for some people.

Seems like the switches in these mice are ****.

Had mine for 3 weeks and now i can rarely get it to even click.

When it finally clicks it randomly releases on its own which also causes issues espcially in shooters.

considering this being a gaming mouse its not that great honestly

Had the same double click issue with my m65 like everyone else. Did the update (around 5 hours before this post) and so far haven't hade any problems.

Know I'm late to the "party", but just wanted to say the update seems to fix the problem and make it easier for people to maybe find a solution to their problem :)

I know it is over a year since the page was last used but I have just bought an M65 and it is not working out of the box what it is doing is right clicking when I use the left click and for some reason I does not have a left click function.

What happens when you press right click on the mouse?
Try the mouse on another computer and see if it functions normally.

I bought an M65 Pro RGB on 7/5/16.

I didn't think much of it, but noticed when clicking on drop down boxes, I'd have to keep clicking until it stayed open sometimes.

I'd shrug it off as just an odd occurrence, but it's pretty noticeable everyday now.

I read there was beta firmware available in order to fix this issue and read it was included in 1.19. Has the fix really been included in releases since then?

My M65 firmware is 2.04 with bootloader 0.04.

I tried forcing an update from the server, but nothing newer was available.

Could this be hardware after all?

I am having the exact same issue, it's a shame because I really like the mouse but this issue is making it unusable for daily use.

Any software fixes or is this a pure hardware fix?

Hi, my M65 PRO RGB has the same issue here. Running firmware 2.04 (CUE 2.4.66) along with a K70 RGB.

Seems to be a rampant issue as per amazon reviews and online discussions. Doesnt seem to have any rhyme or reason - appears to be random on my end.

This is my second mouse that i'm looking to RMA - the first one's middle mouse wheel stopped working and was RMA'ed.

This is basic quality control for consumer goods (especially when talking about 'pro gaming hardware'... you'd think they would have figured it out by now? I take it Corsair is not taking it seriously seeing as this has been an issue for the last few years.

Yea some level of quality control would be nice for "PRO" gaming hardware.
Im on my 3rd K70 rgb keyboard and the 3rd one has the same miss colored/unlit keys as the first 2 i just gave up on RMAs and now my M65 has the missing/double click issue

So im looking at a 100% chance Corsair products Will FAIL!
its a shame because they look great and seem to be built sturdy but my record and a quick search shows they are plagued with the same repeat issues

I have had the mouse around 8 months and am now getting the same issue.
Sometimes I click and it's fine, Others I click once on and icon and it acts as a double click.
much like someone else mentioned if you hold the mouse button down for a second and release it doesn't do it. but being that this is a high dpi gaming mouse, that's not really helpful. The problem is I don't have my receipt for the product. how do I go about getting it replaced or repaired
Cheers Dan

@Mosez666

Contact your reseller and see whether they are able to provide a replacement receipt.

Default Temporary fix

I fix it by lifting up the button a bit and then blow air into it a couple of times. Somehow dust gets into it and confuses the sensor.
Too bad since it's otherwise an awesome mouse.

Was able to consistently reproduce the double left clicking issue. Firmly press left click, then slowly release.

I can adapt, but it's been two years, seriously?

Received M65 Pro RGB FPS 9 days ago.
